Tagesausflug - Koh Tao & Nangyuan High Speed Catamaran

Angel fish, parrot fish, trigger fish, rabbit fish, barracudas and turtles can be seen amongst so many other species at Koh Tao’s reefs. The diversity of corals is abundant: stone corals, table-, brain- and mushroom corals are surrounding the rocky underwater landscape at Koh Tao, also known as “turtle island”.

You will be picked you up by our air-conditioned minibus at the hotel reception and brought to the pier where the catamaran will be waiting for you. The boat ride will take about one and a half hours to get to Koh Tao. You can look forward to experiencing this very unique boat on which you will appreciate highest standards in terms of safety and comfort. Despite its fairly big size, the catamaran is just as quick as smaller speed boats, while smoothly gliding through the waves.

After having arrived on board you will get a nice breakfast and meet your instructor who will give you your well-fitting snorkeling gear. If you prefer you are provided a life jacket for snorkeling as well. Having arrived at Koh Tao, your instructor will give you a briefing about equipment and about snorkeling about preserving nature and safety issues. The instructor will accompany and take care of you in the water as well as on the boat. The first snorkeling tour will take about one hour. 

Back on the catamaran you will be served a delicious lunch – a choice of several Thai-style dishes. Soft drinks, coffee, tea and hot chocolate are available throughout the day. At times you will be served fresh fruit and snacks as well.

The second round of snorkeling will take place at another spot. Here you will have another hour to explore colorful reef life. After having had fun in the water you will have a relaxing boat ride back to Koh Samui. Around 4 pm you’ll be back at your hotel again.
