Description

You will start with the capital town of Nathon on the western side of Samui. The center of Nathon is famous for its old Chinese warehouses and shopping opportunities with local prices. You will then continue around the island and stop at the famous Na Muang Waterfall No 1. This waterfall is easy to reach and has a big swimming pool. It is one of the favorite places among the locals to hang out and go for a swim with their family and friends.

The next stop will be at Wat Kunaram, the temple accommodating the famous mummified monk. Your tour guide will tell you his story. Afterwards, you will experience the harvesting of coconuts at a plantation. Samui locals use trained monkeys for this business. Furthermore, you will see how coconut milk is extracted from the nuts and get the chance to taste the healthy coconut water. A new addition to one of the oldest towns of Samui is the Guan Yu shrine in Hua Thanon. From there, you will go to the beach and visit the famous Grandfather and Grandmother rock in Lamai. On the way to Big Buddha, you will stop on the cliff of the east coast to enjoy the spectacular view over the bay of Chaweng.

Big Buddha and the Temple of Plaeleam will be the last stops of the day before you return to Samui Restaurant to experience a fusion of authentic Thai cuisine and a few European treats. You will return back to your hotel when you are ready.
